Aiyedatiwa Launches Campaign for Tinubu's 2027 Re-election

On a recent date, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Governor of Ondo State, officially launched a statewide mobilization program aimed at supporting Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election bid for the 2027 presidential election. The initiative is designed to engage citizens and ensure a massive voter turnout for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming elections.

The event took place at the Gani Fawehinmi Arcade in Akure, where Aiyedatiwa emphasized the importance of a structured grassroots political network to penetrate communities and consolidate support across all 18 local government areas in Ondo State. The program, described as a transition from ad hoc campaigning to a more organized approach, aims to inform citizens about federal policies at the community level.

Aiyedatiwa's remarks included a call to safeguard against political regression, framing the mobilization as essential for reinforcing the APC's electoral prospects. Other notable figures, including Hope Uzodinma and Babatunde Kolawole, also contributed to the discussions on the significance of grassroots structures in the political landscape.
