Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu Denies Gubernatorial Ambition Reports

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, through his Chief Press Secretary, Levinu Nwabugbiogu, refuted media claims of declaring his intention to run for the governorship of Abia State in 2027. Kalu demanded a retraction of the report, stating that he has not made any public or private declaration regarding contesting the gubernatorial seat.

He clarified that any future political plans will be announced at the appropriate time.
