2027: I’ll end corruption within one month if elected president – Amaechi reveals

Rotimi Amaechi, former Minister of Transportation in Rivers State, has pledged to eradicate corruption within one month of being elected President of Nigeria in 2027. During a session titled "Weekend Politics" on X Space, Amaechi stated that if he fails to end corruption within this timeframe, he would resign from the presidency and work towards amending the constitution to address issues of indigeneship and citizenship.

The former APC chieftain also alleged that influential Nigerians often visit the Central Bank of Nigeria to embezzle funds. Amaechi's bold promise to tackle corruption swiftly if elected highlights his commitment to fighting this pervasive issue in Nigerian politics.
