Gombe APC Candidate Pledges Peaceful Campaign for 2027

Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, the gubernatorial candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State, announced his commitment to a peaceful and issue-based campaign for the 2027 general elections. He made this declaration on Thursday during a solidarity visit from various youth groups in Gombe.

Gwamna stated that elections should be viewed as a democratic process rather than a hostile contest, promising that his campaign would comply with the provisions of the Electoral Act and maintain order, civility, and electoral integrity. He expressed his intention to build upon the achievements of the current administration led by Governor Inuwa Yahaya while introducing policies to promote sustainable development through human capital investment.

Gwamna praised the accomplishments of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Inuwa Yahaya as significant assets for the party's campaign. He urged the youth to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and called for compliance with the Electoral Act from all candidates, stressing the importance of prioritizing Gombe State's collective interest over personal ambitions.
