Kano APC Endorses Tinubu, Rejects Automatic Lawmaker Tickets

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State has officially endorsed Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the sole presidential candidate for the party in the upcoming elections. This endorsement was confirmed during a stakeholders' meeting held on Thursday, where former governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje played a significant role.

The party also endorsed Governor Yusuf for a second term, emphasizing that the selection of candidates should be determined through internal processes rather than automatic tickets for lawmakers. The meeting saw unanimous support for the motion to adopt Tinubu as the presidential candidate, led by party member Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi.

Kano State APC chairman Umar Haruna Doguwa highlighted the party's initiative to purchase nomination forms for Tinubu, showcasing their commitment to supporting his presidential bid. The discussions also included the submission of nomination forms by interested candidates, adhering to party requirements.
