Katsina Minister Affirms Non-Negotiable Support for Tinubu

On September 21, 2026, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Muttaqha Rabe Darma, announced that voters in Katsina State are committed to supporting President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 elections, emphasizing that their votes are non-negotiable. This statement was made during the inauguration of the Arewa for Asiwaju Group (A4A) in Katsina, which aims to mobilize support for Tinubu’s administration and communicate its achievements across Northern Nigeria.

Darma explained that the group was established by prominent Nigerians, including the National Security Adviser, former governors, and ministers, to coordinate and document federal projects in Northern Nigeria. He highlighted that the group would actively engage with the public to showcase the government's contributions to the region.

The primary purpose of the meeting was to formally inaugurate the Katsina State coordination committee, which consists of selected personalities from the state, reaffirming their commitment to Tinubu for the 2027 elections.
