Taraba Governor Kefas Backs Tinubu for 2027 Election

Agbu Kefas, the Governor of Taraba State, has publicly pledged the state's unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 presidential election. After a meeting with President Tinubu, Kefas stated that Taraba is "100 per cent" behind the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He emphasized that federal interventions in areas such as security, education, healthcare, and infrastructure have significantly bolstered the confidence of Taraba residents in the current administration. Kefas noted that the people are experiencing tangible benefits from the President's support and are assured of Tinubu's commitment to their welfare.

He expressed that the residents would reciprocate this support at the polls. Additionally, Kefas visited to welcome Tinubu back and to offer condolences regarding the recent Nigerian Air Force aircraft crash in Ondo State, which resulted in the loss of military personnel and civilians, describing it as a national tragedy.
