Kwankwaso Engages NDC Candidates for 2027 Elections

On Tuesday, Rabi'u Kwankwaso met with candidates from the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) in Nasarawa State at his residence in Abuja. The meeting aimed to enhance the party's structure and foster unity among stakeholders while fine-tuning strategies to advance the party's vision ahead of the upcoming political activities.

Kwankwaso officially announced the party's vice presidential candidate on Saturday. The NDC had previously declared former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi as its presidential flag bearer.

Kwankwaso, who left the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to join the NDC, cited internal divisions and a court case as reasons for his departure. The meeting reflects the NDC's commitment to building a strong, people-driven platform capable of delivering positive change.
