Bala Mohammed Endorses Seyi Makinde for 2027 Elections

Senator Bala Mohammed, the national leader of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and Governor of Bauchi State, endorsed Seyi Makinde as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 elections. Speaking in Abuja during the inauguration of Makinde's campaign office, Mohammed described him as possessing a "remarkable résumé" and the necessary experience to lead Nigeria.

He emphasized Makinde's accomplishments since becoming the Governor of Oyo State in 2019, particularly his skills as a mobilizer and resource manager, despite limited resources. Mohammed noted Makinde's background in the oil and gas industry and private sector, asserting that his humility and respect for others further qualify him for leadership.

He expressed confidence that Makinde would effectively "reset Nigeria" and provide a new direction for the country. Mohammed also highlighted the APM's stability and commitment to offering Nigerians a new lease of life in leadership, with a campaign motto of "Nigeria First.".
