PDP Chieftain Foresees Many APC Members Missing Tickets for 2027 Elections

A prominent figure in the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Sowunmi, has expressed his belief that numerous members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will not obtain tickets to contest in the 2027 elections. This assertion comes in the wake of reported defections of PDP governors to the APC in preparation for the upcoming general elections.

Sowunmi conveyed his views during an interview on Channel Television's political program on Friday. He emphasized that the state governors' decisions would not solely determine the overall electoral outcome in 2027, suggesting that surprises could unfold during the elections, potentially shocking the populace.
