Marafa Urges Supporters to Join NDC Ahead of 2027 Elections

On Wednesday, Senator Kabir Garba Marafa instructed his supporters in Zamfara State to immediately switch their allegiance from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as they prepare for the 2027 elections. Marafa emphasized the importance of registering under the new electoral law to participate effectively in the NDC.

He warned that the ADC faces significant challenges, exacerbated by the new electoral law, which he claims could be manipulated by the government to hinder their participation in the elections. Marafa mentioned that the ADC plans to file a court case to challenge any disqualifications based on minor mistakes.

He characterized the NDC as a stable and clean party, free from legal threats, and urged his supporters to act decisively, likening the situation to a wise person fleeing a burning house to save their life.
