Niger South Stakeholders Endorse Senator Enagi for 2027

Stakeholders from Niger South have declared their support for Senator Muhammad Bima Enagi's re-election bid for the Senate in 2027 during a meeting held in Mokwa Local Government Area last weekend. Alhaji Moham Danjuma Adamu, the chairman of the stakeholders, emphasized Enagi's impressive legislative track record during the ninth assembly, which included sponsoring 14 bills aimed at boosting economic activities in the region.

The stakeholders noted the untapped economic potential of Niger South, which is rich in resources such as shea nuts and arable land. They expressed regret over the lack of support for Enagi in the 2023 elections, attributing his defeat to opportunistic candidates.

The group reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring Enagi's return to the Senate, highlighting the importance of having a representative who remains connected to the grassroots. Additionally, Senator Peter Ndaalikali's recent defection from the APC to the People's Democratic Party (PDP) was mentioned, indicating a competitive political landscape ahead.
