Awkunanaw Clan Endorses Governor Mbah for 2027 Term

The Awkunanaw clan, spanning several communities in the Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, has officially endorsed Governor Peter Mbah for a second term in office in 2027. This endorsement was highlighted during a massive rally at the Civic Centre in Akpasha, attended by prominent figures such as former Senate President Ken Nnamani and former Governor Jim Nwobodo.

Nnamani noted that Mbah has become a "poster boy" for subnational governance in Nigeria, with the clan expressing solid support for his continued leadership. The gathering also featured the presentation of the "Ofo" symbol of authority to Mbah, signifying the clan's backing.
