Kwankwaso Affirms Northwest's Focus on 2027 Elections

Rabi'u Kwankwaso, the vice presidential candidate for the Democratic Congress (NDC), emphasized the Northwest's commitment to securing victory in the upcoming 2027 general elections. This assertion was made during a briefing with the party's national leader, Seriake Dickson, on Tuesday.

Kwankwaso detailed the results of a highly productive engagement and consultation process undertaken across the Northwest states, which yielded encouraging outcomes. Dickson confirmed the submission of his candidacy and announced that his name would be uploaded to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal.

He expressed delight in welcoming Kwankwaso and reiterated the party's steadfastness and unity as they prepare for the elections, alongside Peter Obi, who remains committed to the NDC platform.
