Kwankwaso, Dickson Unite NDC for 2027 Elections Amid Setbacks

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, a former presidential candidate, and Seriake Dickson, a former governor of Bayelsa State, are actively seeking support for the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) as they prepare for the 2027 general elections. During a strategic meeting at Dickson's residence in Abuja, they discussed ways to strengthen the party's unity and resilience in light of ongoing legal challenges.

Kwankwaso expressed confidence in the judiciary to resolve these issues, stating that temporary setbacks should not weaken the party's spirit or commitment to democratic values. He urged party members to remain focused on their long-term objectives.

The meeting follows a recent ruling by the Federal High Court in Lokoja, Kogi State, which nullified a previous judgment regarding the registration of the NDC. Despite this legal setback, the NDC leadership remains committed to consolidating its structure nationwide and pursuing available legal remedies.
