2027: Obi-Atiku alliance a threat to APC victory – Party Chieftain

Dominic Alancha, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has expressed concerns about a potential alliance between former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, stating that it could pose a threat to the ruling party's chances in the 2027 general election. Alancha highlighted this during an interview on the Politics Today program on Channels Television.

He pointed out that the opposition leaders, including Atiku and Obi, have joined forces with other prominent figures like President David Mark, Rauf Aregbesola, and Rotimi Amaechi under the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition platform. This coalition has criticized President Bola Tinubu's economic management and is relying on the combined strength of Atiku and Obi, who together garnered 12 million votes in 2023.

Alancha warned that if Atiku and Obi align for the 2027 election, it could lead.
