2027 Elections: Atiku Mentions What Opposition Must Do to Take Back Nigeria from Tinubu

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has called on Nigeria's opposition parties to unite and prioritize unity and patriotism to challenge the ruling Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections. Atiku made this statement during a meeting with the Southern Middle Belt Leaders Forum, emphasizing the need for a united front to reclaim the country from APC leader Bola Tinubu.

Atiku's adviser, Paul Ibe, highlighted the importance of providing alternative leadership capable of addressing Nigeria's socio-economic and political challenges. He commended the forum for its patriotic stance and urged the opposition to mobilize citizens and rebuild the country.

Atiku also assured his commitment to the newly adopted coalition party, African Democratic Congress (ADC), to unseat Tinubu and the APC in 2027, citing the need for a strong opposition to save Nigeria's democracy from sliding into dictatorship.
