Odigie-Oyegun and Utomi to Lead ADC's 50-Member Manifesto Committee for 2027 Elections

The African Democrat Congress (ADC) has appointed former Edo State Governor and APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, to head its 50-member policy manifesto committee for the upcoming 2027 Nigerian elections. The committee, which includes seasoned experts from various sectors of society, aims to develop a credible and people-centric policy framework for the nation.

Professor Pat Utomi will serve as the deputy chairman, with Salihu Lukman as the secretary of the policy manifesto committee. Other notable members include former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Anambra Governor Peter Obi, and ex-Rivers Governor Rotimi Amaechi.

The committee's mandate is to create a coherent and credible policy framework that reflects the aspirations of Nigerians. The formal inauguration of the committee is set for February 2, 2026, at the ADC National Secretariat in Abuja, Nigeria.
