Oyo APC Chieftain Backs Alli for 2027 Governorship Election

Prince Oyewumi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, expressed strong support for the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Sarafadeen Alli, in a goodwill message obtained by PUNCH Online on Monday. Oyewumi highlighted Alli's extensive grassroots support across the state and described him as an experienced politician, public administrator, and philanthropist.

He emphasized that Alli's political network and leadership experience position him favorably for the 2027 election. Oyewumi noted that Alli has built a formidable following in all 33 local government areas of Oyo State, which would be beneficial if he becomes governor.

He urged APC members to remain calm, united, and committed to the party, expressing optimism about defeating opponents in the upcoming election. Additionally, Oyewumi praised Alli's inclusive leadership style and the Oyo State APC leadership for promoting unity.

He also commended residents for supporting President Bola Tinubu’s administration and the Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at addressing economic challenges.
