Wabara Endorses Otti for Second Term as Abia Governor

On Thursday, during a foundation laying ceremony for the Ukwa East General Hospital, Adolphus Wabara, the chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, publicly endorsed Alex Otti of the Labour Party (LP) for a second term as governor of Abia State. Wabara, a former Senate President, expressed his readiness to work towards Otti's re-election, emphasizing that his support transcends party lines due to Otti's satisfactory performance in office.

The motion to endorse Otti was seconded by Louis Obianyi, a member of the Abia State House of Assembly. Wabara's endorsement was supported by local leaders, including former Secretary General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Okei Emuchay, who urged Otti to revive the Abia Palm Company to create jobs and boost the local economy.

Otti, in his speech, affirmed the need for quality healthcare access for all residents of Abia State, ensuring that no part of the state lacks quality healthcare services.
