2027: PDP Govs Insist On Nov 15 Convention, Urge Members To Resist Anti-Party Forces

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum reiterated its commitment to holding the national convention on November 15, 2025, despite opposition from anti-party forces. During their 7th meeting of the year in Gusau, Zamfara State, the governors urged party members to resist attempts to derail the convention.

They emphasized the importance of the PDP as a democratic institution and a viable alternative for Nigeria's governance and development. The Forum also expressed appreciation for the loyalty of party members in the face of intimidation from the Federal Government.

They condemned the divisive governance style of the ruling APC and commended the efforts of the Zamfara State government in addressing insecurity. The governors reaffirmed their dedication to rescuing Nigeria from hardship and misery, urging Nigerians to protect their votes and uphold the vision and principles of the PDP.
