2027: PDP Threatens To Sanction Party Members For Endorsing Tinubu’s Re-election

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has issued a warning to its members, threatening sanctions for endorsing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election bid in the 2027 Presidential election. The party's national publicity secretary, Hon Debo Ologungaba, expressed serious concern over the actions of certain members publicly supporting the opposition party.

The PDP highlighted that such endorsements violate the party's constitution and could lead to division and disaffection within the party. The PDP's National Working Committee (NWC) has issued a strong reprimand to those involved and urged all members to remain loyal and focused on the upcoming PDP National Convention in November 2025.

The party emphasized the importance of unity and adherence to party principles to ensure electoral success.
