2027: PDP Warns Members Against Endorsing Tinubu, Threatens Sanctions

The Peoples Democratic Party's National Working Committee has issued a warning to its members against endorsing President Bola Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election. The party's National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, stated that such endorsements violate the party's constitution and could lead to sanctions for those who fail to retract their support.

The PDP expressed concerns about the division and disaffection caused by public declarations of support for the All Progressives Congress. The NWC urged members to remain loyal and focus on ensuring a successful national convention scheduled for November 2025 in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The party emphasized the need to maintain unity and stability to sustain its progress.
