PNT Urges Nigerians to Re-elect Tinubu for 2027

The Progress Network (PNT) has called on Nigerians to re-elect President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 elections, emphasizing the need for continuity in his administration's transformative policies. This appeal was made by PNT's Director General, Pastor Olumide Obadel, during a press conference at the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) press center in Abuja.

Obadel noted that Tinubu's administration has made significant strides over the past three years, including the removal of fuel subsidies on May 29, 2023, which has redirected funds towards development. The PNT highlighted the establishment of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which has disbursed N206 billion to 1.16 million students since its inception in May 2024.

Additionally, the administration has initiated major infrastructure projects, including the Sokoto-Badagry North-South Super Highway and the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway. The PNT also commended the Ministry of Interior, led by Dr.

Bunmi Tunji-Ojo, for improving Nigeria's international standing, as evidenced by the rise in the Nigerian passport's ranking.
