Nigerians Urged to Support Tinubu for 2027 Elections

Nigerians are encouraged to prioritize continuity and progress in the upcoming 2027 general elections, particularly in support of President Bola Tinubu's re-election. This call was made by Comrad Hussaini Abubakar of Niger Without Border during a press conference in Abuja.

Governor Moham Umar Bago of Niger State, who is seeking a second term, and Senator Moham Sani Musa, who is pursuing a third term, also backed this initiative. They highlighted the significance of Tinubu's economic reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidies and the unification of the foreign exchange market, which have begun to yield positive results.

Abubakar noted that these reforms have contributed to a narrowing fiscal deficit and strengthened economic growth projections. He warned that any disruption to the current trajectory could lead to regression.

Bago, known as the "farmer governor," emphasized Niger State's potential as a food production hub and the need for investment in agricultural infrastructure to ensure food security in Nigeria.
