Obi of Onitsha Criticizes Politicians for Neglecting Governance Amid Rising Insecurity

The Obi of Onitsha during the 2025 Ofala festival in Anambra State expressed concerns over politicians neglecting governance for politics, leading to a rise in poverty, food prices, unemployment, and insecurity. He noted a 40% increase in poverty rates from 2018 to 2023.
