Makinde Launches Nationwide Town Hall Meetings for 2027

Seyi Makinde, the presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and the Governor of Oyo State, announced the commencement of nationwide zonal town hall meetings as part of his campaign strategy for the 2027 general elections. The Makinde-Daura Presidential Campaign Organisation, represented by Anthony Ehilebo, Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communication, revealed that these meetings will occur across all six geopolitical zones in Nigeria.

The first meeting is scheduled for Katsina State on September 22, followed by sessions in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on September 25, Lafia, Nasarawa State on September 28, and Enugu on September 30. The campaign aims to foster citizen engagement and address national issues, focusing on stability and well-being.

Ehilebo emphasized that the meetings would be issue-based and citizen-driven, aiming to present the campaign's vision for a "Reset Nigeria." The campaign is gaining momentum as a grassroots movement, attracting diverse support across various social and ethnic groups.
