Afikuyomi Appointed Chairman for Tinubu's 2027 Campaign

Ahead of the 2027 presidential re-election campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi has been appointed as the Chairman of the Advisory Council for the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat Independent Campaign Group (PBAT-KOH ICG). This appointment was ratified during a strategic meeting held in Lagos, which aimed to establish structures for the upcoming campaign.

Key political figures attended the meeting, including Senator Wasiu Sanni Eshinlokun, the National Director General of the PBAT-ICG; Dr. Seyi Bamigbade, representing Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi (OON), the Chairman of the Board of Trustees; and Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu Dullar, the Principal Director General of the PBAT-KOH ICG Lagos state. Senator Eshinlokun emphasized the importance of this strategic development for effective voter mobilization.

Dr. Bamigbade confirmed that Afikuyomi’s appointment aligns with the directives of the Board of Trustees Chairman, Olusi, and stated that the advisory council would unify support networks for a cohesive campaign.
