2027: ‘Protect Tinubu, Southern Nigeria From Northern Power Mongers’ – APC Chieftain Urges Southern Elders

An APC chieftain has called on Southern Nigeria to protect President Tinubu from Northern power mongers in the 2027 elections. Speaking to journalists in Osogbo, Sunday Oyintiloye emphasized Tinubu's long-standing friendship with the North and the need for Southern support in his bid for a second term.

Oyintiloye warned of a historical trend where Southern Presidents face opposition from splinter groups in the North, undermining their administrations. He urged Southern political leaders and royal fathers to align and resist any attempts by Northern politicians to destabilize Tinubu's presidency.

Oyintiloye also called on prominent Southern figures like former Presidents Goodluck Jonathan, Wole Soyinka, and elder statesmen to prevent a repeat of this negative history. He expressed confidence that Tinubu's leadership in a second term would bring stability and fairness to Nigeria, promoting unity and equitable development across the country.
