Uba Sani Urges Aspirants to Support APC After Primaries

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani advised political aspirants to resist the urge to work against the party following losses in the primaries. Speaking during a Ramadan fast break with members of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, he emphasized that there would be no anointed candidates among the aspirants.

The governor stated that the primary elections will take place between April and May 2027, and he assured that the process will produce the APC flag bearer chosen by the people. Sani also reiterated his support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu's candidacy and urged aspirants to seek the people's support while avoiding actions that could undermine the party.

He recalled past instances where party members worked against the APC, which he deemed counterproductive. Additionally, he highlighted improvements in security and infrastructure since assuming office in 2023, including the reopening of 535 schools and 85 health facilities.
