Shettima Advocates Peaceful Campaigns for Tinubu 2027

On Monday in Abuja, Vice President Kashim Shettima called on campaigners for the All Progressive Congress (APC) joint ticket to ensure their mobilization for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is peaceful and focused on issues. During the inauguration of the National Working Committee of Transporters for Tinubu/Shettima 2027, represented by Senator Ibrahim Hadejia, Shettima highlighted the unique role of transport workers in connecting communities and their importance as ambassadors of the nation.

He recalled welcoming transport workers to support the administration on June 15, 2026, and urged them to maintain peaceful activities and avoid disorder. Shettima implored the transport workers to reject violence, threats, and misinformation, emphasizing that political participation comes with obligations.

Prince Segun Obayendo, the National Coordinator of the Transporters for Tinubu/Shettima 2027, noted that support from the transport and logistics sector is driven by the impactful reforms of the Tinubu administration.
