Peter Obi Advocates South-East Unity for 2027 Presidency

Peter Obi, a prominent political figure and member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), addressed party members during the flag-off of voter registration in Anambra State. He revealed that the South-East is collaborating with other regions to ensure the zone produces the next president in the 2027 elections.

Obi highlighted the need for a united front to rescue Nigeria from poor governance and emphasized that the South-East deserves leadership. He vowed to challenge the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) regarding its influence over party candidate selections, advocating for credible elections.

Obi called for mass voter registration, aiming to mobilize citizens against bad leadership and to ensure that every Nigerian can engage in legitimate business without fear. The event was also attended by notable political leaders, including Ben Obi, who assured that the goal is to ensure a fair electoral process.

Benchuk Nwosu, chairman of the registration committee, announced that 150 voter cards would be distributed across 326 wards.
