Gov. Radda Warns Against Complacency for 2027 Elections

Gov. Radda of Katsina, while receiving expressions of interest for nomination forms to seek re-election under the Progressive Congress (APC), cautioned that those expecting easy polls in 2027 are deceiving themselves.

He described the consensual process as a sign of political maturity and unity among party members, stressing the need for hard work and grassroots engagement. Radda urged candidates to emerge through a consensual arrangement to mend fences with fellow aspirants and strengthen voter accord.

He commended the members of the consensual committee for facilitating a smooth and credible process, noting that their efforts aim to maintain peace and order within the party. Earlier, Murtala Aliyu Kankia distributed nomination forms in a friendly atmosphere, contrasting it with the chaotic processes seen in other states.

The distribution followed an agreed framework to help sustain grassroots engagement and ensure electoral success.
