CUPP Alleges Tinubu Government Fears Peter Obi's Political Influence Ahead of 2027 Elections

Peter Ameh, of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), claims that the Bola Tinubu-led administration is concerned about Peter Obi's growing political clout, particularly in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Ameh accuses the government of taking deliberate steps to prevent Obi from appearing on the ballot, suggesting a strategy to diminish the former Anambra governor's influence.

The allegations were made during an interview on the Seun Okinbaloy Micon Podcast, where Ameh also pointed fingers at presidential aide Bayo Onanuga for targeting Obi on social media as part of a broader plan to undermine him.
