Aisha Yesufu Claims Tinubu Has Already Lost 2027 Election

Aisha Yesufu, a human rights activist and member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), asserted that President Bola Tinubu has already lost the 2027 presidential election. She made this statement during an interview on Channels Television's Politics Today on Thursday.

Yesufu highlighted that despite the People's Democratic Party (PDP) having 20 governors, they lost power, indicating a similar fate for Tinubu. She referenced the ADC's loss in the 2026 Federal Capital Territory (FCT) area council elections and criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) for allegedly manipulating and rigging elections in Abuja.

Yesufu emphasized that the usual voter turnout in Abuja was not observed during the general elections, contrasting it with previous FCT council elections. Following the interview, she expressed her disagreement with the title shared by the channel on their YouTube page, insisting that it misrepresented her points during the discussion.
