Amaechi Predicts Tinubu's Loss in 2027 Election

In an interview on a Channel Television breakfast show, Rotimi Amaechi, the former Minister of Transport and ex-Governor of Rivers State, asserted that Bola Tinubu, the current President of Nigeria, will lose the 2027 election if the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is included on the ballot. Amaechi criticized Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) for their efforts to undermine opposition parties, claiming that the current administration is deliberately working to prevent strong opposition candidates from emerging.

He emphasized that regardless of the electoral process in 2027, Tinubu's chances of winning are slim due to prevailing economic hardships and insecurity across the country. Furthermore, Amaechi challenged the judiciary to allow political parties and candidates to freely contest in the elections to see if they can win against Tinubu.
