APC Chieftain Urges Tinubu to Renew Mandate Ahead of 2027

Princ Emmanuel Odigi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), addressed supporters regarding President Bola Tinubu's mandate, which he noted is nearing expiration as the 2027 general elections approach. Speaking on Thursday during an appearance on Arise Television's morning show, Odigi described Tinubu's recent visit to the United Kingdom as a positive step aimed at enhancing bilateral relations that could yield tangible economic benefits for Nigeria.

He stressed the importance of translating ceremonial engagements into concrete outcomes, particularly in attracting investments. Odigi urged the government to promptly implement signed agreements and memoranda of understanding rather than allowing them to languish.

He emphasized that voters expect visible progress as Tinubu's current mandate winds down, and he called for a clear communication of achievements to encourage the electorate to renew the president's mandate in the upcoming elections.
