Hope Uzodimma Launches Grassroots Media Campaign for 2027

Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, is intensifying efforts to promote President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda at the grassroots level. This initiative includes citizen engagement and feedback mechanisms, extending organizational structures from the national level to local governments, wards, and polling units.

During a national mobilisation retreat in Abuja in June 2026, Uzodimma emphasized the importance of effective communication to prevent distorted public perceptions of government policies. The Renewed Hope Agenda (RHA) Director of Logistics, Shehu Usman, announced a new phase involving a comprehensive media and public enlightenment campaign, which will feature weekly outreach on television channels.

This strategy aims to utilize digital and new media platforms to inform the public about federal government policies, counter misinformation, and connect the administration’s reforms with voters. The mobilisation architecture will cover 176,846 polling units, with 25 canvassers appointed at each unit, totaling 4,421,150 grassroots mobilisers.
