Renewed Hope Ambassadors to Support Tinubu's Reelection

On Tuesday, Hope Uzodimma, the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and Governor of Imo State, reaffirmed that the organization remains intact despite the establishment of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council for Bola Tinubu's reelection. During an emergency meeting in Abuja, Uzodimma addressed concerns among members regarding rumors of the group's dissolution, emphasizing that it was created by President Bola Tinubu and serves a distinct yet complementary role to the campaign council.

He stated that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors are tasked with promoting the government's achievements and educating the public about the changes since 2023. Uzodimma announced an upcoming summit in September for political officeholders, to be addressed by President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.

He reassured members that the group's mandate remains unchanged and that it will continue to function beyond the elections, likening it to a barracks that remains after soldiers come and go.
