2027: ‘We Need To Save This Democracy’ – Atiku Speaks On How Opposition Can Take Back Nigeria

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has emphasized the importance of unity within the opposition to challenge the ruling Progressives Congress (APC) and save Nigeria's democracy from sliding into dictatorship. In response to the Southern Middle Belt Leaders Forum's call for a united front, Atiku commended their patriotic stance and stressed the need for the opposition to prioritize unity and patriotism.

He highlighted the necessity for providing alternative leadership capable of addressing Nigeria's socioeconomic and political challenges. Atiku's Media Adviser, Paul Ibe, emphasized that the opposition parties must prioritize the interests of Nigeria above all else and work towards improving the lives of Nigerians.

He warned against the APC's attempts to establish a system that could undermine the country's democracy.
