Wike Links Abuja Infrastructure to Tinubu's 2027 Election Support

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), stated that the infrastructure projects being implemented across Abuja will play a crucial role in determining the level of support President Bola Tinubu receives in the upcoming 2027 elections. During an inspection of a road project in Gwagwalada, Wike expressed satisfaction with the progress made by the contractor, Gilmo Engineering, and noted that the project aims to improve connectivity and living conditions in the area.

He is confident that the project will be completed by December as planned. Wike highlighted the positive response from residents, indicating their appreciation for infrastructure development.

He dismissed claims that any electoral support for Tinubu would result from rigging, asserting that the delivery of projects is the basis for political support. Wike also announced plans to inaugurate Tinubu's campaign team in the FCT and confirmed his commitment to leading the campaign while returning to his ministerial duties afterward.
