2027 Presidential Race: Tinubu, Atiku, Obi Face Off

As Nigeria approaches the 2027 presidential election, the political landscape is becoming clearer with 11 candidates expected on the ballot. Analysts believe the contest is narrowing to three main contenders: Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, Atiku Abubakar of the African Democratic Congress, and Peter Obi of the Nigeria Democratic Congress.

Peter Obi, who won 12 states and 6,101,533 votes in his first presidential attempt, aims to strengthen his position by partnering with former Kano State governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.
