Yahaya Bello Declares Bid for Kogi Central Senatorial Seat in 2027

Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has officially announced his candidacy for the Kogi Central Senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections. Bello made the declaration during a courtesy visit to the palace of the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, where he expressed readiness to represent the district in the National Assembly.

His bid sets up a battle against the incumbent Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan. Bello's announcement was met with support from political leaders and stakeholders in the region, including Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo.
