Ogun APC Candidate Solomon Adeola Unveils Development Plan

Senator Solomon Adeola, known as Yayi and the Ogun State governorship candidate for the All Progressives Congress, presented his nine-pillar manifesto titled “ITESIWAJU for Ogun State” on Monday in Abeokuta. He emphasized the need for continuity in governance and development policies, citing Lagos State as a successful model of how successive administrations can build on previous achievements.

Adeola, who serves as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation and represents Ogun West Senatorial District, argued that Ogun State could replicate Lagos' development through seamless transitions between administrations. He stated that his administration would continue viable infrastructure projects initiated by the current government rather than abandoning them.

Adeola called for an issue-based campaign for the 2027 election, urging candidates to articulate their plans for youth development, women's empowerment, industrialization, agriculture, infrastructure, security, job creation, and economic growth. His development agenda, “Itesiwaju,” aims to address the state's needs across various sectors.
