Youth for Tinubu Initiative Restructures for 2027 Elections

Ajibola Afolayan, the Director-General and Convener of the Youth for Tinubu Initiative (YTI), announced a total restructuring and expansion of YTI alongside the launch of the BSA Youth Movement to support the APC governorship candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, in Oyo State. This initiative marks the beginning of aggressive door-to-door mobilization aimed at securing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election and ensuring APC victory in the upcoming general elections.

Founded in 2021, YTI played a significant role in Tinubu’s emergence as President in 2023. Afolayan emphasized that the newly repositioned YTI will focus on grassroots mobilization for Tinubu’s re-election while the BSA Youth Movement will specifically support Senator Alli’s campaign.

The strategy involves engaging young professionals, students, and community organizers across Oyo’s five zones, with structures extending into all 33 local government areas, wards, and polling units, ensuring comprehensive support for all APC candidates in the state.
