ZLP Candidate Nwanyanwu Vows to Tackle Insecurity, Corruption

Dan Nwanyanwu, the presidential candidate for the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), made a commitment to address Nigeria's pressing issues of insecurity and corruption during the party's national convention on Saturday. He described insecurity as a major threat to national stability and economic growth, stating that citizens no longer feel safe.

Nwanyanwu criticized the current government's failure to address the root causes of insecurity and highlighted the lack of political will as a contributing factor to the crisis. He outlined a security plan that includes strengthening intelligence gathering and improving coordination among security agencies.

Additionally, he vowed to enforce anti-corruption laws strictly, ensuring that no one is above the law, and promised to recover misappropriated public funds for developmental projects. Nwanyanwu also linked corruption to infrastructure deficits and poor public services, emphasizing the need for youth development and job creation.

He called for national unity and leadership that prioritizes the interests of the people over personal gain.
