Comoros Coach Yusuf Abdallah Aims to Upset Super Falcons

Yusuf Abdallah, the head coach of the Comoros women’s national team, has stated that his team can achieve victory against Nigeria’s Super Falcons in their 2028 Olympic Games qualifier. The first leg of this second qualifying round match is scheduled to occur at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne.

The Comoros team advanced to this stage after a remarkable 30-0 aggregate win over Sudan in the previous round. Despite acknowledging the strength of the Super Falcons, who are 10-time African champions, Abdallah remains optimistic about his team's chances.

He emphasized the importance of the match for both teams and noted that they are focused on maximizing their opportunities during the game. Abdallah stated, “We are here to play a serious match and give ourselves the best possible chance by making the most of our opportunities,” highlighting the unpredictable nature of football.
