Lagos Motor Fair & Africa Autoparts Expo Set for 2026

The 20th Lagos Motor Fair and the 13th Africa Autoparts Expo are scheduled to occur from March 17-19, 2026, at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos. Organized by BKG Exhibit Limited, the event will focus on accelerating the development of Nigeria's automotive industry, positioning the country as a hub for automotive growth in West Africa.

Mr. Ifeanyichukwu Agwu, Chairman of the organizing committee, emphasized the importance of the event in driving investments in automotive spare parts and accessories manufacturing.

The expo will facilitate business-to-business engagements among original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and auto part dealers from Nigeria and neighboring countries. It aims to stimulate the emergence of companies engaged in automotive component manufacturing, supporting government policies for a competitive automotive sector.

The event will also feature seminars and workshops addressing policy, investment, and technology transfer. Mr.

Agwu called for a review of current automotive policies to enhance local manufacturing and employment opportunities.
