FUTA Celebrates 240 First-Class Graduates, Top Student Achieves 4.98 CGPA

A total of 240 students at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) in Ondo State are set to graduate with First Class honors during the institution's 36th convocation ceremony. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adenike Oladiji, disclosed that among the graduates, Akindunbi Aduragbemi Isaac from the Department of Civil Engineering emerged as the overall best student with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.98 out of 5.0.

Additionally, FUTA will confer postgraduate diplomas on 86 students, Master's degrees on 627 students, and Doctorate degrees on 154 others. The institution is recognized for its research-intensive programs and commitment to addressing societal needs through education and innovation.
