Bandits Kill Three in Kwara 24 Hours After Church Invasion

In a tragic turn of events, bandits struck in Kwara, Nigeria, killing three individuals, including two farmers, within a day of a church invasion. The incident occurred in Eruku Ekiti, where the bandits targeted farmers retrieving their harvest.

The assailants abducted four people, including a teenager, and later killed two farmers while injuring a third person. The Governor of Kwara, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, announced plans to enhance security in the area by establishing a forward operating base for the Nigerian Army and mobilizing a police squadron.

Despite efforts to improve security, the region continues to face threats from banditry.
